Maida - 1 ¾ cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Instant Coffee Powder - 3 tea sp.
Refined oil - 5 table sp.
Sodium bicarbonate - 1 tea sp.
Cardamom Spice Drop™ - 6 drops
White vinegar - 1 table sp.
Icing Sugar - 1 ½ cups
Hot water -3 tbsp.(Aprox.)
Cardamom Spice Drop™ - 2 drops
Roasted & Chopped Cashew nuts -2 tab.sp.
Heat the milk, dissolve coffee and sugar in it and allow cooling.
Add Vinegar, Spice Drop™& oil to it. Sift maida with soda & add the milk mixture to it.
Beat till smooth.
Knead very well. Form into lime size balls and flattens slightly.
Pour in a greased cake tin and bake in a pre-heated oven (170°C) till done (about 45 minutes).
Turn out on a wire rack and allow cooling.
Mix icing sugar with hot water and Spice Drop™to soft spreading consistency.
Spread over the cake and sprinkle cashew nuts on top.
